Alright, since i skip lessons today, i shall use the little time i have to blog abit about my 2 months ago taipei trip!
God! its been so long!
I miss taipei! the weather there is woohooo! *shake butt. hehehe. ^^

DAY 2 in Taipei

this is their police station. hehe.
I dont even know it was until Mr Porky pointed it out.
it looks really run down.

AND PARTY WORLD BUILDING!

Oh well, day 2 was planned to head to Dan Shui- Yu Ren Ma Tou.

Dan shui station is like Pasir Ris station where its the end of the Mrt line.

Frm the station, can head down to Dan Shui Old Street.Its kinda like a market street where you will see them selling foods and their local snacks there.

You can walk from the station to the old street.

If in doubt, just visit their visitor counter just outside their MRT station.

The staff will give u a map with the tourist attractions there.

AND OH! porky and I tried their TIE DAN!

OMG,IT SUCKS! TOTALLY SUCKS OKAY!

alright, it is a black color egg. looks kinda like Pi Dan.

But when u put it into ur mouth and chew, it has this hard and chewy feeling and taste LUO DAN.

Anyhow, in porky's and my opionin, that egg is just plain horrible. eeeeeee

lucky we bought a small packet of it only. like 10 or 15eggs.

My god, our lives kinda become sad in taipei at that moment when deciding who wants to eat the eggs. HEHEHEHE.

You can walk by the sea to the Yu Ren Ma Tuo.

But a gentle thing to take note, the walk from the train station is nearly 1hour!

U have to walk with 2 feets for 1 hour! its horrible and i was freezing cold that day!

I was just wearing a thin cloth and leggings. GOD!

That porky FORCED me to take picture with this cow.

Cos yu ren ma tuo is nearly in taipei county.

If i never remb wrongly. hehehe

And finally at long last, i saw this sign board!

i dun really know the history of it. but lotsa taiwan drama shows actually went there to film.

So, for walking so long there. u really need to camwhore.

But the wind was BLOWING.

BLOWING SO STRONGLY till i had a headache there! GOD.

My brain felt like it was bursting out of my skull.

So, we went to this suppose to be a fish market to eat and rest.

But tis place sold anything but fish.

Dried fish perhaps.

But at least got food la.

Porky tried the SMELLY DOU FU!

and i ate their Dan Shui FishBall. (suppose to be special)

its jus fish ball with meat inside.

But its nice thou! the soup was hot and it warmed my body! =)))

Took their public bus.

And its really cheap!

NTD15 = About 0.65cents from one end to another end!

The national Palace Musuem is the MOST BORING place i ever visited in my life.

and that explains the free entry tickets.

Oh well, blogging all this makes me so damn tired.

and i need to go study for managment accounting test le.

MERRY XMAS! and HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

ohwell, i guess i have been missing from this little space of mine for uber long time.
i'm just damn lazy to blog plus im missing my journey to taiwan entry. hehehe.
so, i shall get my lazy butt to blog a little.

DAY 1

My flight trip was from Singapore to Bangkok at 710am on Tiger Airways

From Bangkok to TaiPei TaoYuan at 110pm on AirAsia

& from TaiPei TaoYuan to Singapore at 7plus on JetStar!

hehe.

I took all the budget flight on this trip in order to have the best cost saving air tickets!

So, at budget term in the morning!

Reaching Bangkok at abt 9am and thus porky and me have to transit there for abt 5hrs.

So, we did walk around the airport, round and round.

Did our lunch there at the airport too. hehe

The lunch set has HEART SHAPED watermeleon! HEHEHEHE

CHECKED IN!

there are alot more shops after u checked into the departure hall in Bkk.

The arrival halls only have like tourism spots in bangkok and tour agencices counter.

Porky checkin the exchange rate for NTD (new taiwan dollar) cos we intend to draw the money from the ATM in taiwan as the banks have the highest exchange rate!

U would have to take their airport bus to taipei city because Taoyuan is pretty far away from Taipei City.

So, porky and I took the FreeGo bus.

Its about 140 NTD per pax which is about $6 in Sing for about 1hr plus ride to Taipei City.

There are alot other different companies airport buses.

Must see where u wana go in Taipei City.

This is their train's prority seating stickers.

Can go ask for the stickers if u need the seat.

Anyway, during peak hours, these seats are not usually occupied by normal ppl UNLIKE singapore.

Anyway, porky and I stayed in a hotel near XiMenDing.

HEHEHEHE.

we head to hotel 1st and chiong off to ximen at about 8plus.

Familarise ourselves with the train station location and walk around ximen.

i have been to 3 different countries- (Hongkong,Macau,Australia ) this year with lotsa other small trips to batam,tioman and bintan!

this is totally a travel-filled year! >.<

Bali - march
Bangkok- march
and hopefully i can get to go to UK during the uni sem and Japan for my holiday! =)

So there, tioman trip 2009 wif the republic wakeboarders!

thats the 1st day we reach tioman!

WELCOME TO TIOMAN ISLAND; Paya Beach Resort.

since we reach about 2plus,we jus laze our afternoon away.

we went to the resort to check in and stuffs, laze in their resort pool and of course! to CAMWHORE!

Debby was really tired at she fell aslp at the poolside, so we jus took a few pictures wif her sleeping!! HEHEHEHEHE!

the view was beautiful and i really think that the resort seems slightly different frm the previous time i went in 2007.

mayb its the company!

i really love my team! >.<

And and and, we adopt a kitten, Ronix! =)

oh well, kittens are never know to be loyal. so, only with food will the cat come to us.

The island is filled wif stray cats!

OH! the most surprising stuffs was! they had a surpise celebration for me!

the story goes,

the rooms was connecting rooms so i was bathing in the toilet and i heard everyone rushing into the next room.

BUT i ignored them and jus bathe quickly!

den when i came out of the bathroom,my room was void of people la!

WA! i hate being alone lo. DAMN SCARY CAN! so i haven even dry and comb my hair,

i started to bang the connecting door to the other room.

and there goes the surprise pictures with my unglam face and hair!!!!!!! LOL

they start singing birthday song and gave me my cute little birthday cookies! HEHEHE.

i just watched the channel u reality show on doing voluteer jobs at cambodia.
it kinda really went into my heart.
i felt that the people there are really very poor but they still managed to get on with their life, having family and stuffs.
i had this kinda overwhelming feeling in me as the show went on.
the voluteers bought like 60pieces of clothes for like what USD $15.
YES, USD $15 thou its like 2nd hand clothes.
I know we would not appreciate or even wear those clothes that are 2nd hand or even pass me on.
But the smile on those people who recieve the clothes are like the clothes are new and they are so thankful to even get it!

Hais. Look at us here in singapore.
Buying clothes like nobody business.
Money spend on clothes are so much!
I felt that i really need to start to learn how to appreciate what i really have and stop wanting to have more.
BUT im pretty sure that this feeling will be like for awhile only before i start grumbling again!

so so so, i just need porky to confirm his leave for nov and we will settle for it!

hopefully its still as cheap! even not $400, we still can get the cathay pac for $500 plus!

i wana visit disneySEA at tokyo! it looks totally amazing!

the disneyland at hongkong is already making me go nuts over it, i bet disneysea would be so much better! hehehehehe.

the news of his death was sudden but i didnt felt anything at first.
i just felt shock and that's all.
that's because i dun really understand the word death. what does it really meant.
it just meant someone unable to move and talk, cant bet on seeing him anymore, knowing that if i pass by sunset way, that he will not be staying there.

i just keep wondering how i actually feel or what i should be feeling.
confused.
went to his place with shir after work yest.
its really a kinda weird feeling. i didnt know what to expected.
after all, i did not see him for about 4 years.

still, after hearing his mum telling us about the accident, emotions just build up.
i didnt have to think to be feeling that kind of sick and weird sadness in me.
its has always been hard to handle death after all.
we were friends during secondary school and we were quite close at a period when i was with dex.
after all, birds of the same feather flock together. =)

he and dex hid under my study table/bed(i cant remb) to avoid my dad who came home one afternoon suddenly! haha.

and now he's really gone.
but like what all his friends said, he was really in pain so it might be really better if he leave us.

saw him for the last time and i lost control of my emotions.
i start blawing out and i totally do not understand why.
his dad was saying " thank you for the love u gave ken" and i totally couldnt control it anymore.
like a few seconds i just look at the dad and tears just start to come out.
and i dun understand why i felt so hard about it.

the family was strong like the mum said.
and i believe ken would be in better hands now.
he choose to believe in God and we all believe that he is void of pain now and is by God's side.

these few days are definetely sooo boring.

i cant seem to slp well, been having weird dreams at night that seem to occupied my tiny brains all night long.

its really really nice and i totally love the weather at that time. =)

miss hongkong so much. *its only been 2 months since i was back from hongkong! hahah!

the shops there are like 10times bigger than in singapore.
people there dress better than people here.

hopefully we will get more people to join and to STAY in the ig.
staying in the ig is the most important thing.
everything has been revolving around wakeboarding these few days.
have to make sure that we get enough posters,get other stuffs and to also train for IVP 2009.
its the utmost important thing on the list for wakeboard now!

its going to be hard to really get a placing based on everything that is going on now.
but miracle might happen!
Just like last year!hopefully so. =)

3rd day: Head to Ngoh Ping

The place where people always go there to pray to the big buddha.So here we are! =)

GOSH! the flights of stairs there can kill!HAHA

it nearly killed me while climbing up. i m such a unhealthy person. =(

Was suppose to go disneyland on the same day but we decided that there was no time.

So porky decided to go take the star ferry at tsim sha shui.

Head to Fa Yuen Street again! HAHA.

to buy shoes. and i saw ELF SHOE over there.

ITS SO CUTE LA! hahas.

and i love the drink. think its called xu liu shan.

it look sooo different from the normal typical city shopping centre.

Visit the casino for the 1st time as well! =)

its my 2nd day in sydney!

reach sydney yest morning at 6am sydney time.

its a apartment and its really really nice!!! =DD

oh well, was shopping yest.
head to paddy's market. was a market and they sell lotsa clothes there too.

head to DFO- direct factor outlet after that. was a shopping center with lotsa shopping brands like quicksliver, ripcurl , polo raphl lauren, river , timberland!! HAHAS
happy shoping there! bought a ripcurl bag, ripcurl shoes and roxy board shoes! =DD

2nd day- today
head to wollengong. another city south of sydney!
its more den a hour plus drive ok!
SUPER LONG!

went to a big temple to pray with my mum n auntie.
NICE NICE.
head to another city near wollengong after that.
its near the sea. I MEAN SEA!
really windy n its really really cold!! =Dhahas.
the waves are really BIG BIG!
and there is this thing call BLOWHOLE.
its a nature thing.
ate really really super fresh oysters.

i really love it here in sydney!
the place is really really different from singapore where there are lotsa building.
the buildings here are like private estate houses and there arent lotsa malls here.
its all rows after rows. =)))
the fish market that i went at the place near the blowhole is really nice.
its not like those mega fish market. its like a shop by itself.
not at all alike to singapore! =)

2nd day at HONGKONG!

Porky saw that we were staying near the police station and insisted that we walked there and look at it.hahas.

So there, MONGKOK POLICE STATION. =)

Was a sunday morning! so its a shopping there for me! =)))

Head to FA YUEN STREET which was abt 10- 15mins walk from the hotel.
SUPER ALOT OF SHOPPING! =)

i really really love the fashion in hongkong.
the girls there really dress nicely and the shoes and clothes are really nice. =D
not too expensive neither is it really really cheap.
haha.
GREAT TIME TO SHOP TOO!
it wasnt hot, so i didnt sweat even when walking on the street.
it wasnt really cold either.
the weather was SSSWWEET! =)

head to tsim sha shui's avenue of stars at night.
Caught the laser light show at 8pm also.
but was nth much. cos it was so misty. =(

but it was nice anyway. really nice. it was like 2times the size of the view that we overlook at esplande!

as plan, porky and i went to THE PEAK.

took the peak tram up.

there was TONS OF PEOPLE THERE.

well, cause it was a saturday! tons of people there!!

headed to madam tusasas wax museum as well!

HAHA! i saw many people there!!

people that we will never meet up close for our life!

its really a amazing wax museum. i wonder why it really look so life like lo.

reminds me of the movie. the real person is stuck inside the wax!! AHHHH!

the peak was super cold la. ok, not super cold. it was freezing!!!

and there was fog all around cos it was so high.

AND I CANT SEE THE VIEW FROM THE TOP!

so annoying! make me piss off lo. but nvm! i shall not let it ruin my trip. =)

head to LFK after that. just walked around cos the bars there are really filled up with people.

DAY 1 Morning:

there's this wood craving at the airport that allows us to draw some attraction of Singapore.

So we did it! HAHAS.

Reach Macau:

Head to St Paul Ruin. Its a famous church which is only left with a side of the wall.

It's kinda like a artefact. Interesting!

On our way there in the cab, we caught a glimps of SANDS!

So we WALKED TO THE FERRY TERMINAL! =DDD

mind you! its quite a long walk ok..

lucky mr pork knows how to read the map.

So on our way exploring, we saw:

macau's parking device. They use this to pay their parking.

Singapore use coupons. Must tear tear.

Macau and HongKong use this device leh! i thought it was interesting.

hehes.

We passed by a park - empty parade square with nice colored flowers there!

And well, that area is really clean! =)

And so, while nearing to our destination,

we have to also walk about half a round of Macau's reservior!

HAHAS! AND LIKE I SAY, its cold and windy there!

irritating my hair! hahas.

but i really like it there. the air in macau sea area is really nice. =D
